The mission of the KCKA is to expand awareness of the art and science of handcrafted knives, to provide an educational forum for the exchange of ideas, techniques and innovations, and to promote the outstanding craftsmanship and representational interests of it's membership. Founded in 2008, the Kansas Custom Knifemakers Association, Inc. (KCKA) is a nonprofit organization with membership throughout the Midwest. KCKA members are Knifemakers who enjoy pounding steel and eating metal grit to their hearts content and others who are Collectors, Suppliers or Purveyors of custom knives. Benefits to Membership include Hammer-in's, shop visits, camaraderie and an opportunity to display and promote knives on the site. KCKA members are keenly aware of our tough economic times and are determined to keep membership dues as low as possible. We welcome all input and encourage you to visit our site often for new and exciting content! |
